Default Software Suggestions?

Any suggestions as far as software you've used to convert DVD to MP4 for your IPOD video?

http://www.videohelp.com/tools?tool=Cinematize

This is trialware, apparently they just added MPEG-4 support for PSP and iPod

This one is freeware, but you'd have to rip your DVDs manually with something like DVD Decrypter and then maybe remux the files into MPEG instead of VOB

The IPOD converter works so well! The free DVD ripping software is hard to use and when they are ripped, I don't understand how to put the files together. It's a pain...

Well www.videohelp.com is a good site for help with anything video, hence the address. You can set DVD Decrypter to rip to a single VOB file instead of splitting at 1gb as they usually do.

Otherwise you could perhaps use DVDShrink, which lets you re-author in such a way that you can specify the particular video you want from the disc (main feature, bonus features etc) and a start and end point, aswell as which audio tracks to use.
