Im really sorry to hear about your dad....

I gave birth to my daughter while my grandma died in the next ward , she never got to see her great grand-daughter.....First time I took my daughter out was to grandmas funeral....it was a difficult time for the whole family. My daughter brought us all hope and we could see grandma in her...

Congratulations Vanessa on your beautiful boy, your dad would be so proud of both of you..

Aww Vanesa thats a great photo you both look so good ,glad he arrived safely in the end though . Does he sleep well at night?
So sorry about your dad as well though , life is so unfair at times . Its a tragedy that he didn't get to see your son but at least you can tell Agustin all about him .

Oh Vanesa, such sad news indeed I really hoped your dad would've come all ok through surgery and *at least* would've gotten the chance to meet your son. I'm extremely sorry to hear this wasn't the case and I can imagine that must be hard to live with. But like Russ said, you can tell your son all about him and make sure that at least he'll know his grandfather through your stories, even though it can't be the other way around.

I'd also like to congratulate you with Agustin! He looks so adorable!! And you look remarkably well for a 'new' mom, btw. I wish you all lots of good luck.

Many thanks for the nice words everyone, I truly appreciate them.

Russ, no, Agustin doesn't let us sleep very well at night, especially the last few days. I wonder if he can sense how his mummy is feeling even though I am trying to avoid being upset. Anyway, I believe this will change as he grows.

Yeah babies pick up on everything even if you do hide it .I'm sure in a month or two things will settle . Does he suffer from wind at all?
