if i go somewhere myself it probably will be sweden but just now im trying to rally some troops for krakow or riga.

where abouts in sweden are you? it'd be cool to have a beer with you but stockholm and gothenburg are at the opposite side of each other....
I study in Gothenburg (most of the time), but I spend quite a lot of time in Stockholm since that is where I was born.

Accommodation won't be problem in Gothenburg or Stockholm.

Dublin is a great city tho i had a bad experience at it after the bon jovi concert! fucing hate dublin taxi wise lol but then again there was na extra 80.000 people. History wise its fantastic you love it! very expenise city to at times! youll just have to try and find the right place! tho im from north ireland at uni in belfast! and its not bad city either and the drink is shit cheap! lol

i've got family in belfast but it depresses me alot of the time im over there the older i get. i wouldn't go there just for a weekend away unless it was for some sort of family thing or in the middle of july strangely enough.

it's just the desolation of the place that brings me down i mena irelands a coup but everytime i go to belfast i love the places but **** me it needs to be flattened and rebuilt.

i'm not even really into the whole loyalist thing anymore but as i said, i really would never go if it wasnt for the fact that watching it and all the parties that go with it on the dates around it are really fun.

as for folk throwing stuff. i was walking by the short strand this year not too far behind a few young guys and they decided to all start shouting "mon out and fight ya dirty fenian ****ers" over the gates to the scheme then. i thought i was going to get strung up if anyone came out and thought i was with them.

next time i go im going to wear a t shirt that says im a mormon just t stay safe.

lol naaa hey just shoot for the sheer fact that your a stranger in thew wrong part of town! best thing to do is wear a rangers top undewr you cloths for the protestent side and learn the hail mary in irish for the Nationalist side.

i do believe that its the unionist/loyalist side that is worse when it comes to things like that these dyas anyway!

Belfast is a tip bvut they are rebuliding a hell of a lot of it! i think i counted about 13 big massive cranes all over the city yesterday! and thats only from where i was in the taxi!

it is a brill place to go out but you just need to know where to go!

A beer for 3 quid? That's kinda expensive, I know places in Helsinki that sell beer for 2€, that's about £1,5. Of course, I also know places that sell beer for 6,50€.

Just my two cents,

was in Riga last year and loved it. Theres loads to see and do and is really cheap (about 70p-1 quid a pint). Its still relatively undiscovered so while there are tourists, it is by no means overrun.

i know i reckon riga would be cool to see before it winds up like prague and krakow is getting there fast.

i just checked and return flights and 3 nights in a hostel would cost me.... £30

that's absolutely ridiculous. it cost me about that to get a bus home from newcastle when i was busking in september

Out of your list my first would be Barcelona. I don't get how your friends didn't like it

Stockholm is great, and must be really nice in wintertime. And it's less expensive than London anyway.
