Mine broke after getting that update, stopped reading discs. Sony are giving me a new one on Thursday.

Don't think so.

Just be patient, if they re-released it without it beinf properly fixed, you'd be pretty pissed wouldn't you?

I'm gonna wait for a load of peeps to download it first and see if it all goes to sh*t again...... if it's OK, I'll download it then!

Me too....... same goes for any future updates

Hopefully all will be well though


There are people on the PS3 forum who downloaded the file onto their PC's offering to send it to people who want the update.

A bit risky though!

If it risked getting my ps3 took away again, yes, because then i would go to the 360!

Bit risky isn't it? Just be patient, we won't be waiting that long.

Plus the 360 will probably be dead soon, The games are starting to fill the DVD's they are released on. Microsoft will need to start thinking ahead now.
