come 3-5 years when the ps3 is really being worked i can't even imagine what the games will be like. the mic thing and touch screen on the DS is still intruiging me never mind anything they'll be able to come up with for next gen consoles.

exactly, Microsoft has a 1st release with lots of publishers. But you can already see the different on the ps3 exclusive games. the ps3 has a bad star, sony is too blame, but its not too hard to see its the superior of the two.
But they have to be fast tho, it could well be possible that within 5 years microsoft has there follow-up for the 360, esp with the market on games they have now.
On the other hand, PC seems to have more options then all, yet I only like to play first persons shooters on that.
WII is nothing longterm, the idea is cool but sony already intregated it in the PS3 and with time, (some) games will have the option to be playable like WII on every console. Therefore the WII is not a issue in longterm debate on definition of gameconsole as far as I'm concerned.
