They've stopped making the 60Gb model now, they've also cut the price of it, once their all gone, thats it.

Just gonna be the 40Gb model available.

Apparantly theres gonna be an 80Gb model coming soon and they are releasing a tv tuner so you can record tv on to it!!

Don't have a clue lol. If Sony have listened to their customers, then surely they will make the 80Gb model with backwards compatibility.

They'll have to before I get one, otherwise I'll just stick with my 360.

Apparently it was the conversion chip which offered backwards compatibility that caused the financial loss for Sony, hence why it is being discontinued. I wouldn't hold my breath that it'll be on the 80GB model.

prices went down huge over here, I though all over the world.
PS3 is currenlty outselling both Wii & Xbox in Asia & Europe.
Also, and related, blu-ray is also winning on HD, but that also got to do with the publishers only releasing blu-ray.
PS3 needed some time but within 1-2 years is just as big as the PS2 was, also in games

Yes mate - they work brilliantly. Thanks for sorting those for me! Haven't seen you online much although to be honest, I really need to get some practice in playing against human opponents as I've found that I can thrash the computer AI but get get trounced far too easily when playing against my mates.

Need to get some practice in before I venture online methinks!
