both of them are brilliant. the graphics and cinematics for fight night are amazing and the gameplay in gears of war is just out and out top notch fun.
I was useless at Gears Of War. Got slaughtered in about 5 seconds. I'm wondering if it was because me and wife tried the co-op play mode and there were more baddies - either that or we were both just totally rubbish.

fantastic game though

Need to get some practice in before I venture online methinks!
I've only actually played 2 games online so far,

first one I was beat 10-2 and the second I was beat 8-0!!!!

Need some practice too lol!!!

fantastic game though
me and my bro have been playing it on co-op and its pretty mental.

its good the fact you can cover and flank and stuff without relyign on your teams AI (who have a habit of dying really fast)

its what halo could have been if they;d used some sort of tactics and any semblence of enemy AI at all

fight night is excellent too. we did a few espn classics. i beat my bro with hagler againts leonard then he absolute destroyed me as ali against frazer.

That sounds very familiar to my days of playing PES 6 on the PS2 via the network adaptor.

PS3 is currenlty outselling both Wii & Xbox in Asia & Europe.
Also, and related, blu-ray is also winning on HD, but that also got to do with the publishers only releasing blu-ray.
PS3 needed some time but within 1-2 years is just as big as the PS2 was, also in games
Well i wont be buying one yet .Cannot justify spending that sort of money .

Hey, I've had the PS3 since it was released but I've only just started playing (long story. Well, it's not but I can't be bothered explaining).

Bought GTA IV, my online ID is goldsausage if any of you have GTAIV.

I bought a PS3 just before Lucas was born and I think it's fantastic. I bought it predominantly as a Blu-ray player as it's the best on the market but I've found myself playing a few video games, which for me is a novelty! I've played a bit of Star Wars Lego which was fun and I've played some GT5 which is good but I'm rubbish. I also played a bit of the F1 game but not much yet.

As a media hub it is fantastic and it has played every video file I've transerred so far, as well as being great for music as it is hooked up to my 5.1 set-up. It's also nice to have photos stored on there.

As for the Blu-ray side of things it lives up to the hype and is fantastic, it also upscales DVDs to a far greater quality than I ever expected.

I knew I'd never buy one after Lucas was born and glad I did get it, worth every penny.
