Normally I am one of the biggest advocates of free speech, but AFAIK, Peter owns this board, and he should be able to make rules to go with his property. We may not like those rules, but as long as we want to use his property, we should have to follow them. Ownership overrules free speech. Now if this site was owned by, say, a government....

Well logically if the government owns something you are paying taxes which probably contribute to it, so you have a right to say or do what you want. This board is privately run, Peter owns it, and as such if we wish to use it must obey his rules, unless of course he implemented a contributions system, which he did discuss, but has not mentioned since.
