Star Wars Episode III

Anyone want to start a big discussion about Episode III?

I do, lol.


I think it will be titled something like; "Rise Of The Empire" or "Fall of the Jedi". I think it is inevtitable that Anakin will fall into a volcano after a fight with Obi Wan, and then Palpatine will recover him and put him into the Vader suit.

Palpatine will probably decide to change the Republic into the Galactic Empire, and claim himself Emperor. He will have the Jedi hunted down and killed, claiming that they can no longer use the Force. He will then be confronted by several members of the Jedi council who will discover the truth about him, and he will reveal his new apprentice to them; Darth Vader.

Padme will probably give birth during the movie, and Anakin will have known she was pregnant; but not with twins. Obi Wan will take Luke to live with his step-uncle Owen Lars on Tatooine, and Yoda will take Leia to Alderaan to Bail Organa. I don't have any ideas about what could happen to Padme though.

Anyone else madly anticipating Episode III's release?

It will be the clone wars - where all the Jedi r killed off!!

Anakin will marry the queen, but will turn evil because of his Temper....

OK then. The Clone Wars will kill a lot of the Jedi, but not all of them. It is The Emperor and Darth Vader (aka Anakin Skywalker) who hunt down and kill the remaining Jedi.

You obviously didn't watch Attack Of The Clones, becuase Anakin and Padme got married at the end of that movie.

I saw it twice but forgot much of it - problem is - I have read the Timothy Zahn books which come after the original trilogy....... So know most of whats gonna happen.

Which Timothy Zahn books? There is a trilogy of books he wrote about Grand Admiral Thrawn and Dark Jedi Joruus C'Boath; I have read the first 2 of these.

Also, anything written by anyone else is only unnoficial speculation. Anything written in the official books (A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back, Return Of The Jedi, The Phantom Menace and Attack Of The Clones) is true.

I don't know if anyones read Return of The Jedi, but in it is a "scene" where the Force Ghost of Obi Wan is talking to Luke on Dagobah. Luke tells Obi Wan that he has felt good in Vader, and he thinks he can save him. Obi Wan tells Luke that he once thought Anakin could be redeemed, and they fought, and Anakin fell into a molten pit; obviously causing the mechanical limbs and respitory equipment.

Yep, thats pretty much a given. Also, since Dooku is still alive, I can imagine some rivalry between him and Anakin to be Papaltines right hand man

It took 3 years to make each prequel...even the originals took 2-3 years each. I believe they are about to start principal photography soon, and that should be done by early next year.

It is then up to ILM (Industrial Light and Magic) to add the CG shots, and for John Williams to compose the soundtrack.
