He already has a mechanical limb. His arm was already cut off in Clones.

Another prediction: I don't think we will see Padme die- at least, not soon after giving birth. I remember that Leia was telling Luke about their mother in Return of the Jedi and she was able to tell him a little bit about her. So that means that Leia had lived with her mother for a time. I think both Leia AND Padme will go to Alderaan.

Which Timothy Zahn books? There is a trilogy of books he wrote about Grand Admiral Thrawn and Dark Jedi Joruus C'Boath; I have read the first 2 of these.

Also, anything written by anyone else is only unnoficial speculation. Anything written in the official books (A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back, Return Of The Jedi, The Phantom Menace and Attack Of The Clones) is true.

I don't know if anyones read Return of The Jedi, but in it is a "scene" where the Force Ghost of Obi Wan is talking to Luke on Dagobah. Luke tells Obi Wan that he has felt good in Vader, and he thinks he can save him. Obi Wan tells Luke that he once thought Anakin could be redeemed, and they fought, and Anakin fell into a molten pit; obviously causing the mechanical limbs and respitory equipment.
Yeah - the trilogy & the 2 afterwards

These r great books & would make a great film!!!!

Well, I guess we'll have to wait and see. In a couple years. Dang, this wait is getting me crazy!

She shouldn't have meant her foster mother because Luke's line was "What do you remember about your mother...your REAL mother" or something to that effect. Just got through watching that one for the 6 millionth time!

I was just wondering if anyone else has picked this up from Clones.
Jedi Master Dias (or something) ordered the creation of the clone army. In the Phantom Menace, in the Jedi Counsel, there is a jedi that resembles a Comeno being. I was wondering if that is the jedi that ordered the clone army or was it another charactor that just wasn't shown?

Actually Bantam books have worked very closely with George Lucas, as well as Darkhorse Comics. All the stuff they write and published has been posted on the star wars web site, along with a lot of the characters that only feature in the books. My favourite series is the X-Wing series, gotta love the fighter jocks.

As for Episode 3 as Thommo and others have pointed out, the story line is already there, it is just the details of what happens which is the exciting part.

And 1 more question; Of the Loyal Senators at the end of Clones. When Palpatine and others look off the balcony at all the troops, starships, etc. there is a male human in black/purple, he hits the balcony lighty and shakes his head like it is all bad that what is going on, is he Bail Organa?

George said that Mace Windu will die in Episode III. How, he still doesn't know, but maybe in a fight with Anakin. Lucas won't take ideas from the Timothy Zhan trilogy. I 'veread it, it's nice but not as good as I hoped. Heiden Christensen (who performs Anakin) hopes to have more mechanical parts in Ep III, and mostly hopes to wear the helmet! I 'm sure the last 15 minutes will be astonishing! Anakin will fall to point-of-no-return into dark part of himself. The real war will begin in this next movie too.
Remember in Jedi when Luke asked Leia about her mom? she has few memories but not much because she died when Leia was young. so Padmé won't die in Ep III.
but a rumour says that Lucas shot many plans with Padmé that he wants to include in Episode IV, only for story transition. Has he gone mad? the remasters didn't needed more new scenes! no new special effects! what does he want to do? kill his baby?
I also remember that during the shooting for Ep II, two titles surfaced: "dark romance" (which I think is great) and "shadow falls"... Don't think Lucas will use the word "Empire" for III.

True also. But Luke on the other hand is taken away to Tatooine.

I'm betting on Clone Wars. Anything with "romance" would not make it, even though Lucas probably thinks he makes great love stories, when in fact he just makes everyone want to laugh with his "love scenes".

Anyway, Anakin is not going to fall into a volcano, it's more likely he ends up in a fight with someone. And it's true he has one mechanical limb already, so there might be more.

About the death of the jedi, it's going to be a war and a hunt. All the "good" jedi will be killed, save Obi-Wan, or coverted to the dark side.

But I guess we will know in a few years.
