Yep, for school. Do you really believe I would read that voluntary? I've already read 'Antigone' - just boring. And then 'Hamlet' and 'Faust I' will follow for 11/I.
Ascheinend haben auch die, die den Lehrplan erstellen 'nen kleinen Schaden.

Ya, Stephen_King, Musicman and walter - Who are you??? I think we're here to talk. Would be nice if someone could break the silence.

Stephen King in der Schule könnte man wirklich mal einführen (zumindest in Englisch).

Ok, so I'll write again!
What do you think about "Stephen King movies". Next saturday is one in german TV (Pro7 22:25) "Thinner". However, I don't like most of this movies! Most of them are really really very different to the book. (f.i. "It" "Children of the corn" "Running man"...)
I know only some Stephen King movies I like: The green mile, The shawshank redemption, Misery!

Green Mile, Shawshank & Misery r all good films. I liked the first half of IT - however the second half let it down. Same goes with another of his films (forgot what its called - the one with aliens underground), and the Stand - starts off well but is let down by the ending.

In the horror / chiller genre, I'm a big fan of James Herbert, regarded as many as second only to Stephen King. I personally like him better.

Check him out if u have not (although the books can get a bit graphic).

Has anyone of you ever read 'Azrael' (by Hohlbein I guess)? Well, I like it.
Someone told me that there is a second part. Does anyone know what it's about?
