Default Stephen King

Stephen King is my all time favourite writer. I started reading him when I was about 12.. I think it was Firestarter. I love most of his books, but my favourite has to be The Stand, I love all the characters and SK can really describe people that you feel like you know them.
I also like Jeffrey Deaver and James Patterson, but SK is the best!!
Btw - Hamlet isn't that bad......

I began with Bazaar, (the tittle in french) in 94, since i didn't stopped, i think i did read nearly all his books, he's one of a kind, i can't go to bed without reading SK a bit, i bought all Richard Bachman's too, when i have no SK, i read Patricia Mc Donald, Robin Cook, and others in the same style, but he's the best !

My first Stephen King book was "Hearts In Atlantis" up to then, my favourite author was John Grisham.

I'm honestly a bigger fan of crime fiction, but King is the only other writer I'll read who isn't crime because I think his work is just brilliant!!

Speaking of John Grisham - is anybody else a fan???

I've read "The Client" "A Time To Kill" " The Rainmaker" "The Summons" "Skipping Christmas" and I'm about to read "A Painted House"

I know it may be a kind of strange mix - John Grisham and that whole crime scene, then Stephen King!!

What you people think of Tom Clancy? I haven't gotten around to reading his stuff but I do fancy it!

I fancy reading some of Tom Clancy myself. I also am into all that crime fiction and real life incidents and I am a big fan of John Grishams work. Also Thomas Harris because without him I wouldn't have a user name!

I can't find the tittle in english, but it's in Castle rock, a strange shop in this town with a very strange man ... if you read it you'll recognize.
