Default storing files on a PSP

does anyone have one of the PSPs

how do you store files on them??

i cant get it so the file name comes up on the screen but then it says there is no music

ie BON JOVI- no files found

I have a psp but it doesnt have any storage on it. Only a memorycard will do. Geuss this is what you mean?

no i have one butit just wont let me put songs on it

You're so thick, it's no surprise. Like the TD2005 said, you need a memory card to put the stuff on, and you need a reader for the card on your PC to transfer the files onto the card. That, or use the wi-fi-connection and download them from your PC or the Internet.

for fuks sake ive got a memory card and done all that and its just comin up bon jovi-no files found

well Joey, if you done all that, and it works fine for others, maybe, just maybe, might it be possible that you are doing something wrong??

No, it plays mp3 and altrac or something, but I just connect it with usb to my pc, and just drag the files to the memory stick (aut comes up, but can also be found on 'this computer') and play them on the psp. If you did that and still don't work, then I give up

do u know when you cmpress a music file, is it then in MP3 Format?

Not sure if compress is what you have to do, most of the time it's called converting.
but if that is what you mean then it depends on into wich you convert it. When you convert a file from a cd it's a WAV-file and you can convert that file into for example, a MP3 but also into another file like MPG or VQF, so it depends.
