Strega

Has anyone else here heard of it? I know it is Italian, and it is very good stuff.

Of course I do - my grandfather used to bring it back from Italy. It's wonderful. Strega means witch in Italian. It's a steam distillation of herbs and spices from Europe and the Orient. It gets its yellow colour from saffron; then it ferments in oak vats. It is added to ice cream, fruit salad and is used in cake preparations.

Yeah!!! Someone else who loves it too!! My Italian landlord introduced me to it, and I have loved it ever since. He also had me try Tuaca, which is very good too. Strega is my favorite though, but not too much.
