im really sorry to hear this keeper, and im sorry to put things this way, but as you said, they thought shes too old, shes gonna die sonner or later so why bother... its sad.

Oh thats really bad..... Its so sad that some people just dont give a damn to life and just too ignorant... Its sad that few of these people who actually give bad name to whole medical communityl...

I really hope ur grandmother gets well soon...

sorry keeper to clarify i meant doctors in spain... not doctors of spanish nationality..... i know the doctor my grandad had was not spanish...

Thanks all! My grandmother will be spending at least a few more days in hospital. Seems like a blood transfusion might no be such a good idea at her age though, so they're thinking about that really carefully. But she's feeling more cheerful now that she's being attended to by *good* doctors.

So, it turns out that what my grandmother has is colon cancer With her age (92) they have to really think twice about operating on her. But whatever they finally do things are looking really ugly. If they do operate and things go well she's not going to be able to really lead her normal life and if they don't, well, then you know

I really don't know what I think, I'm feeling sort of numb right now
