Default Summer is over

I'm feeling very nostalgic.

At least here in Finland it's safe to say that the summer is over. It's getting cooler, and this morning I noticed that the first leaves are turning yellow. The summer I never wanted to end is over.

Looking back, this summer has been the summer of my life for a lot of reasons! The time before the tour planning and dreaming with Taija, the actual tour, everything and everyone involved, the time after the tour(apart from the two first weeks it took me to really get down to earth from my cloud 99) with Masa, then Jana and Tom coming over...

I wanna give a huge hug to everyone that made my summer so great - most of all Taija ("together forever"), Masa ("rock, friends and fishing") and Tom ("my rock god") for everything. Also Jana for the tour and for the week over here Also everyone on tour I met - Mike, Marijke, Inge and Fleur, Carola, Thierry, Seb, Sara and Kieets, Peter, Kev and Paul, McRock, Rebekka and Sas, Jovimimi and the adorable kids, Donna and G, Anu... I'm sure I'm leaving tons of people out, but you know who you are. You guys made the tour very special, I've got my memories and a stack of photos to prove it

I guess this also means that I have to change my drink of choice from Summer fruits cider to hot chocolate with mint liqueur... I guess I'll survive.

Awww...

I think I had the best summer of my life too!! And for me it's definately over because it's so cold (5 ºC last night!! ) and I had to start working after 3 months of summer holiday. Can you believe it, I had 3 months of summer holiday! Haven't had that since I was 17 or something. The tour made it very special but I also enjoyed the hot weather in July and the time I had for myself in August.

So thank you everyone who made my summer 2003 the best summer ever! I wanna thank the same people as Laura (surprisingly) plus my boyfriend and my family. I hope I will have more summers as great as this one!

Taija

Glad you had such a great summer, im sure they'll be many more to come . I guess Bon Jovi was a a big part of my summer being away for two weeks watching them but also had a great time seeing my two best friends get married and just enjoying all the good weather weve had.

Oh well only 121 days till Xmas

my rooms a converted loft so when its hot my rooms roasting and when its cold its freezing and for the 1st time since about april ive had to shut my window.

summer was good. bon jovi, t in the park, lots of good nights out only thing i didnt like about it was that salou was shite i mean im all for capitalism but paying £3 for a cheap vodka and coke in a dive is a joke.

I'm feeling sad about the end of summer too. The thoughts of what's to come (cold, snow, ice) totally depresses me. And we didn't even have a good summer this year, as it was foggy and rainy a lot. I don't even have fond Bon Jovi memories to cling onto, since I didn't see them at all this tour. But I did finally get another full-time job in June, so that is one good thing that happened this summer.
