Being that I'm an American, I was speaking from American point of view because I knew that if I generalized as if I was talking about EVERYONE, that would piss somebody off. But apparently that can't be avoided around here anyway.

I was mostly talking about on an individual basis. When I was in elementary school, twice a year our teachers gave us boxes to fill with money to send to some African country. Why? There ARE people in Zimbabwe (or any other country) who are much richer than I am. You don't see them sending money to people in the US who need it.
Americans arent selfish?. Now thats the biggest load oh bull ive heard today

That thing I said about people with diseases being their own fault, was taken a little wrongly. I didn't mean in the 3rd world countries. I meant in the rest of the world, where people contract aids after not practising safe sex, and then complaining when they get std.

No, not the only ones, but the ones who shoulder the biggest burden. Or are you going to say the UK contributes just as much as the United States? Or any other country for that matter?

ShaSha, quit while you're ahead. You're preaching to a bunch of people who think Americans are the lowest species in the gene pool. You must not come here enough, or you would realize that these people here *do* think we are the most selfish and only care about ourselves. We're ignorant to the world's suffering, selfish, and a potted plant has more wits than we do. Stick around long enough to REALLY be insulted. Amazingly, they are kind of tame today. Go figure.
