I'm starting Uni in September, so I didn't do any of those books at school, i read them for fun
At school we read Paul Auster's "New York Trilogy", which I hated
Then "1984", I never really liked this one either (Christo and letitrock will disagree, but i found it dreadful

). Then we did "One flew over the Cookoo's nest" - we also watched the movie and saw the play to it. I liked it

And of course we also did Shakespeare's "MacBeth"
But my favourite book of those we did at school was "The Crucible" by Arthur Miller.
