Test boycott threat by All Blacks
The All Blacks have threatened to boycott Test matches against great rivals Australia and new world champions England unless they get their way on the distribution of gate receipts.
At present, ticket revenue goes to the home team in major rugby internationals, but because the likes of England and Australia can command greater receipts for matches at Twickenham and the Telstra Stadium, New Zealand are seeking a change in the rules whereby profits are shared.
New Zealand Rugby Union chief executive Chris Moller told the Dominion Post: "If push comes to shove we might start making some choices about what teams the All Blacks are prepared to play."
