1) Donald Trump is one disgusting mother****'r.
2) In Europe, we could do with less immigrants.

2. He probably means that people on his country are losing their jobs cause immigrants work for ridiculously low salaries. Here in Portugal it is like that anyway, we've received much more people than we were ready for in my opinion. not being a racist or anything, just the government should worry about their country and their population first and then think about immigration.. it might be good for the country to grow finantially in some years, but it aint easy now...

The same thing is happening in Spain but I don't think anyone's taking any other people's jobs. These people - who only come here to try and have a better life - are doing what no one else wants to do. They are working in farms and culture fields, etc - not exactly jobs that many natives are willing to take on. And what about the people who exploit them because they have no papers?

We are having a lot of people come from South American countries with degrees, etc and what are they working as? Nannies and cleaners... Barely extremely demanded jobs.

well thats true as well, and as i said i dont blame the immigrants for wanting a better life, everyone does and i'm sure any of us would in their situation. *but* at least here in portugal, and where i live in, every damn portuguese shop that closes down, a chinese shop opens the next week... and as you can imagine with low cost and good quality products (they're getting better imo), which leaves the local comerciants (sp) in a difficult situation and sometimes close down

that's the price of capitalism. if a competitor can come in at a lower price and put you out of business then that's just how the dice rolls.

as for the jobs they do.

as has already been mentioned, we get alot of polish immigrants here and they tend to do jobs that no one really wants ie menial labour, working fast food places etc...

in some cases they will work on building sites for much cheaper and that loses Scottish workers their jobs which isn't good BUT the focus of attention should be on the employers, NOT the workers. if the employers did everything by the book ie only took on NI registered employees, paid minimum wage etc... then these jobs wouldn't be there for immigrants to take.

on the other hand for every polish spark on a building site you have an african doctor who isn't allowed to help in a hospital because of beauraucracy and red tape.

look at the 2nd, 3rd and 4th generation middle eastern and asian immigrants into the UK. These are some of the most productive and wealthiest members of British society today.
