I just think it's stupid. At least France was brave enough to say no, and not sniff Bushes butt like some other countries.

You are partially right. I can't generalize, and neither can you.
Nice to see an american who isn't bloodthirsty, though.
There are a lot of un-bloodthirsty Americans in this country. Even though there are a few bastards here, we aren't the sterotypical Amercian as seen from other countries - where we hate everyone, want to control the universe, think better of ourselfs, selfish. We aren't like that. And it's our own government that gives out that sterotypical vibe. I guess you'll be surprised on how friendly the people are here.

France stood up and said no to America and that makes it unbrave? Yes, that's it. Saying no to a world bully is cowardless.
Hey, i believe that the budists in Tibet are being tortured by the chinese in the same way as iraqis are, why not go bomb them for a while, oh, and meanwhile, ask dalajlama what he thinks of that solution.
I think it takes a great deal of spine to see what is going on and not sink to the same, and worse level. Again, ask Dalajlama, he would know. Unfortunately Ghandi is dead, he could give you some great advice about it, too. And if you run out of Tibetian people to kill, you can always go on and save Mjanmar.

Oh, and about tradings with Iraq... Most of iraqis oil fields belong to american companies, and some even to private american owners. Let's not calculate how much money did America make with gulf war and how much will it make with this one. I guess Bush junior wanted he's own war too, why should only daddy be written in history as the oil soilder?

I know they are, i've met one or two specimen in my life.
It's just that the overall impression isn't very rosy, and it's going on throughout the history.

I heard on CNN today that USA is also getting lots of oil from Iraq. Via UN Oil-for-Food programme.

They also said USA imports 50% of world's daily oil production... And Iraq is still world's 3rd (or second, not sure) largest oil "producer" which makes people wonder...
