I think that he is absolutely harmless.

Wouldn't say the same about his sons though. One of them threw the entire Iraqi soccer team in jail for three days because they lost a match to another country. I don't know what country it was but I get this weird feeling that it was Iran or Israel....
I wouldn't be worried about Saddam. Here's an interesting quote I found the other day... it sounds like something Bush junior would say during last 1,5 years, but you'll be suprised when you find out whose quote it is...

"An Evil exists that threatens every man, woman and child of this great nation. We must take steps to ensure our domestic security and protect our homeland."
Saddam is harmless????. What the **** are you talking about. He has his people raped murderd tortured gassed blackmailed.......this is all harmless. We are just to sit and allow this?. Jesus christ i hope you two go to hell for that comment you cold hearted bastards.

I think he meant Saddam was harmless in the sense that he was not likely to attack another country again. But the US government obviously thought different of it. I can't believe Bush is sitting on a huge mountain of bombs and is scared of saddam who only has a little hill of bombs, if at all. I saw a caricature of it the other day...i'll try and find it for you

Yes, Saddam was unlikely to attack another country.

But Bush is likely to so do.

Joviscout, who should be liberated next? Libya, Cuba, North Korea?

Also, do you agree with the above quote?

it's obviously complicated

north korea / israel should be targets also by US logic...

here's an e-mail i got i'd like to paste that annoyed me:

Quote:
If you have already done this then just ignore this email. If you
would like to thank the military to go the following link below.

Thanks sooo much
GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!!!

If you are so inclined, visit the Department of Defense web page below
and sign a brief message thanking the men and women of the U.S.
military services for defending our freedom. The compiled list of
names will be sent out to our soldiers at the end of the month. So
far, there are only about 1,400,000 names. What a shame. There should
be hundreds of millions of thank you's. Pass the word that we can
honor and support the defenders of freedom.

National Military Appreciation Month

http://www.defendamerica.mil/nmam.html

Thank you
i don't think i need to go at length about why it annoyed me

Do you even know anything about North Korea? The people there live in terrible conditions, yet you want to nuke them?
you seem to not understand what I was saying, whoever it was was against war in Iraq, yet perfectly willing to NUKE all of north korea

OK let me put it this way, i dont care of the reason of the war be it for oil liberation or other. All i care about is what is happeing to those people by saddam its not right and we should not sit back and allow it. What you lot need to remember is that we know NOTHING we dont no the intelligence reports being passed, whats actually happening in iraq at the moment or what saddam had planned. This is why i am focusing on what we know and that is these people have a awful way of live a lot worse than you can get your mind around. All the stuff about oil and bombs on our part is simple speculation there is no confirmed fact in what any of you are saying. I at least have one fact, and thats what im baseing my support on.
