Default The BEST book that you have ever read!

Now that summer is coming, I need some good books to read. I was wondering what some other people's favorites are?

Anne of Green Gables is a great feel-good book, I rather enjoy the Cat Who... series, I love those!

My favorite book of all time has to be The Third Eye - its so corny - but I read it back in Middle School - and some of the images from that book are still there! They get all lovey-dovey-oh-thats-so-corney at the end! I was much into that, and I like to see some love in stories these days! Its sweet, and unfortunatly, corny as heck!

Jane Eyre is rather good, also.

The Hobbit. Great story in itself, let alone the three parts that follow!

I have so many!!!! I usually go for writers more than just books. I like most of Stephen King - I especially love The Green Mile, It and Desperation. Jeffrey Deaver and James Patterson are among my favourites too.
Favourite books, as in stand alone books are: To kill a mockingbird, Ordinary People, The Hobbit, Dr. Phil (well, I think he's good!!), The mayor of Casterbridge.

There are so many more, just can't think at the moment... it's too early here...
