Hi:
My favorite books are, in no particular order:
My Ishmael - Daniel Quinn
Les Miserables - Victor Hugo
Prayers For Rain - Dennis Lehane
Star Wars:NJO:Traitor - Matthew Stover(I think)
Legacies - F Paul Wilson

Well, that's all of 'em. Have any of you read any of these?

Adrian

Blatantly, Star By Star is the best NJO book, and the best Star Wars book is I, Jedi

Can't agree more!!!

I also like all 3 Lord Of The Rings books, along with the Harry Potter series.

Recently though I've been reading Sharpe books by Bernard Cornwell. It's a series of books/films about the Napoleonic wars (old fashioned warfare, 1800s), and it's a great series.

Star By Star, that was the one where Anakin died, right? Or the one where Jacen came home? I've read all of them and Traitor is the best IMO. Can't say I cared that much for I, Jedi. I'm not a very big Michael Stackpole fan. I think Aaron Allston is very good, StarFighters Of Adumar is right behind Traitor as far as Star Wars books go. Solo Command was also very good. Timothy Zahn is good too. His second Thrawn series was great!

For me the best books are Stephen King books. I love most of them, especially "It", "Misery", "Green mile", "Dreamcatcher", ....

But I alos like other books. Funny books, for example "Bridget Jones diary", or "Animal farm" (I thought it was very funny!)

anything by JOYCE these days...

I'm reading some intresting documentaries right now about the Romanian nazis. They were called LEGIONARI. Very weird. The way they fighted against comunsim but they couldn't stop it.

But in the end they weren't anything more than nazis.

THE Book i'm reading right now is: "WITH THE SCHOOLBAG TO JAIL"

intresting...

Hmm...here's a good mixture of classic to good beach books

"The Red Tent" by Anita Diamant
"The Awakening" by Kate Chopin
"Fall On Your Knees" by Ann-Marie MacDonald
"The Lovely Bones" by Alice Sebold
"The Scandalous Summer of Sissy LeBlanc" by Loraine Despres (a great beach book )
"The Complete Works of Flannery O'Connor" by Flannery O'Connor
"Beloved" by Toni Morrison
"David Copperfield" by Charles Dickens (boy, that's a long one! But one of my favorites.)
"Mrs. Dalloway" by Virginia Woolf

...and on and on. I'm an English major, so I'm always reading Hope this helps you!
