You're from Bradford? Oh cool! We were there a few weeks ago... Didn't see the best part of it tho, and no pubs around there at all Is it nice there?

Two rock gods, Glenn Hughes and Tom The gig was at Bradford Rio, don't know the area but there was the University, and lots of ethnicities. Correction to previous: there was one pub there but it was closed.

Ah you went to Rios, my friends band used to play there. If youd have gone a bit further up theres quite a few uni clubs/pubs around there.

my 50-year old uncle seemed quite intent on going to the university area for some reason

I've been to see Glenn also though at St George's Hall - and also Deep Purple. Town is nothing special, but I like the concert hall. Bradford Rio's was actually quite nice once you got inside also... outside didn't appear so.

Rios is situated in a really dodgy area. Thes best part of the town is at the bottom near the Alhambra theatre. St Georges Hall is a pretty decent concent venue. Def Leppard played there recently
