i asked big oz aka christo and he informed me that they re4ally do have barbeques on christmas day cos its the middle of their summer. beats turkey any day of the week

anyways im off to have a shower, wrap presents which ive been putting off till as late as possible. dont get much later than this.

then me n my girlfriend and some mates r goign to the pub down the road for some cocktail festivites, back home, watch crap on the telly or fall asleep depending on how much i drink.

2moro i get up depending how long i lie i eiether open everything then go to church or wait till after church. then we do nothign all morning, pick up my gran and her sister and my grandpa and gran and bring them over here for dinner, have a few drinks then im goin down to ashleas family do thing for a while then back up her at nite to see my aunt, uncle n cousins.

people may say christmas is all about money and is tooc orporate but neverthe less it really does bring people together and makes a little bit of difference in peoples lives once a year.

anyways i should really be going so merry christmas everybody. hope santa's good to u all.

It's some kind of hen. I really didn't like it

What about desserts, though? Any traditional dessert over there?

Yummy!

Here we usually have icecream or homemade stuff. I don't think there's a traditional dessert as such.

We used to do our immediate family gifts on Christmas Eve. When my brother and I were kids, we would open our "Santa Claus" presents on Christmas morning. So, many years ago, Christmas Eve was my mom, dad, brother, grandma, great uncle Virgil and great aunt Val. Virgil died in 1987. My grandmother had Alzheimers and we hadn't been able to celebrate with her for years. Val and my dad died this year. So, tonight... I don't know. Nothing special I guess.

Tomorrow we'll go to the family gathering with my Dad's side of the family.

Becky

I had Christmaseve at my aunt's place ... Was cool, first loooots of food ... at 12 o'clock we opened our presents (I got a dreamcatcher, something to hang in my car and the DVD of John Q (=a movie I really like !) ... Verrrry happy with it all!
After that we played a quiz that I made earlier that day ...

Your dreamcatcher should be over your bed.. to protect you from bad dreams..
