The calculations assume that Santa delivers all the presents himself. If he had 10 "elfs" to help him, that would decrease the time it takes to deliver to only 82 houses per second. If he had a 100 helpers, it would be 8 secs. With a thousand helpers, well, you get the pcture. Who says Santa delivers all the present personally?
