well its more to do wth the fact that most of the time the kind of pain you go through at 17 is nothing compared to what youll have to face when youre older. its hard to imagine that now as this in your eyes this is the most intense stuff uve been through, and its hard for older people to remember that [brain cells are dieing all the time- so give them some credit] so at the end of the day the best thing to do is to tell everyone to sod off and leave you to it. DONT complain as it only pisses ppl off.

I understand that, but a lot of people think that cos you're young, you don't really feel pain or whatever.

Dishonesty. For instance, when someone at works makes a mistake--just say you made a mistake and move on. Don't blame it on someone else.

Negativity. People who are negative about everything and don't realize that they're not adding anything of value most of the time. I'm not saying all negativitity is bad, but when someone is negative just for the sake of being negative, what's the point? Sometimes it's better to keep your opinion to yourself.

People who think they're right about EVERYTHING and that their way is the only right way and their opinions are the only ones that are "right." Just the notion that an opinion can be "right" annoys me too. Opinions are subjective. I work with a couple of people like this--they won't listen to any suggestions and a sure fire way to make sure your ideas are not utilized is to voice them because if that person didn't think of it themselves, then they don't care how good of an idea it is.

Maliciousness. I don't even understand this. Why be hurtful just to be hurtful?

A lot of words annoy me. An example is Hotlanta for Atlanta. That drives me up a wall. ChiCARgo for Chicago. One of my coworkers constantly calls the Atkins diet the Atkinson diet.

Couldn't agree more with all that, Becky! I'm constantly correcting people either just mentally or outspokenly It bothers me to no end people who can't - or won't - speak properly

Also, and because today is today - I'm annoyed at the fact that there is a thing called Monday

What else annoys me? People who aren't careful with their books - you know, those people whose books end up all tattered and battered. Ugh.

People who look you up and down when they meet you. People who lookt down on you as if they were gods on earth. People travelling on the underground. Really, most people :P

When someone taps on a table or wherever. Just gets on my nerves, that does!!

In fact, many more things - but I'd better shut up now :P I'm easily annoyed but I get over it quickly :P
