He was doing a demo at a zoo, right?
I mean, for someone who doesn't know anything about crocs, this would not be a good idea. I still dont think it was a great idea, but its not like it was out in the wild. A zoo demo is way more controlled than that.... and I really don't think he would have been holding his kid like that dealing with a wild croc, so whats the big deal? Not a smart desicion, no, but people are taking it too far. It seems to me like it was a very controlled setup.

Although a crazy stunt, lets face it, people like Whitney, Michael, etc. have probably scarred their children more than this.

Totally agree. At least Steve knows the crocodile and knows its behaviour. Not that I think it was right, but it's better than dangling a child from a balcomy..

He's a croc expert yes, but not a baby expert, that's for sure. Look at the pic on page 1 of this thread, I also saw a video of the events on the news, and anyone that has had to hold a one month old baby before can tell he's doing a very bad job. When you can't hold a baby correctly, you just don't do stunts like that, whatever your expertise.

I never said I was one but I can assure you I know how to hold a baby and make sure his head his held properly. He doesn't.
