My thoughts exactly!

Bush doesn't seem to have cheated on his wife, but is he any better for that?

Yes actually, it is our business. How can this man make the right decisions as leader of the most powerful country in the world if he can't even make the right decisions in his private life? Staying faithful to ones wife seems like such a minor thing compared to running a country, and yet he seems like he messed up at that. What's to say he won't mess up at running the country? (He probably will anyway, he's a politician)

Adrian
You're not serious right??? How are the two remotely the same???? Cheating on your spouse and running a country are not even in the same league. It is nobody's business what someone does behind closed doors. And fidelity isn't always as easy as it seems.. if it was not so many people would stray..

I think it is a matter of character. It doesn't show his ability to be a good president, but if you know that eventually you will run one day, wouldn't you be smart enough to keep your d*** in your pants so as not to effect your chances. If the presidency means so much to him, he would have thought twice before doing something that might compromise it.

Plus, we already lack role models in our society. Shouldn't the President try and be a good one.

**No Bush comments, we are talking about Kerry.

In the end though it won't matter. Kerry has no chance of beating Bush IMO.

I expected to see this, which I just got in my e-mail. Though I don't know how being anti-war decades is going to hurt him. Draft-dodger Clinton got elected twice.

I was expecting this kind of reply....

So nobody has ever told a lie, said a cuss word, gotten a speed ticket, stolen a lollipop from the candystore or whatever
I think you can see the difference between saying s*** or getting a speeding ticket and cheating on ones wife. How can this guy honor the Constitution when he can't even honor his wedding vows (never mind the fact that he he takes pride in the fact that he won't honor the Constitution - look at all the stuff on his website)? He's proven that any vow he takes is worthless, why should we trust him to uphold the most important vow he'll take in his life? It is no one's business what he does behind closed doors, except for those immediately effected by his stupid transgressions. However, when he decides to enter the public sphere, with possibly global ramifications, why on earth should anyone trust him if he cheats on his wife? Its a matter of honesty and integrity. He's got none of either.

Adrian
