did they get a medal? no

where they a heroes? undoubtedly as with the many millions more

did they complain, moan ***** or run down their army, government, country and people afterwards? definetely not

and you know why? cause it was a different breed back then. simple as that. none of them wanted to go and fight but that didn't stop them all signing up en masse.

if this ***** has the audicity to call himself a war hero then i really hope he's ashamed of himself.
I know what you mean Jim. I don't consider him a hero, although I do respect the fact that he did serve his time in the military. At least he wasn't a draft dodger like one of our past presidents.
Being conscripted is a hell of alot different to signing up off your own back even when you don't want to go and fight.

I dunno about over uor side of the pond but when the 2 great wars broke out over here the streets were literally lined with young men and boys waiting to sign up and do their bit.

Vietnam was a different war from the two great wars... I say that because of why it was fought. The troops were treated as heros from the World Wars..not so with the Vietnam.
Many vets who fought in Vietnam came back bitter, so what Kerry did was not so unusal. Maybe time has change his feelings...who knows.

Both my brother and I lost our fathers in Vietnam..we lost so many men )and women) in that war.

Anyhow, I don't want Bush back in office, I mean what has he done for America? Besides get us involved in war...Yeah I'm anti-war. Who in their right mind would be pro-war. I know there are times you can't avoid it, but he's proud that we went to war.. "I'm the war president.."

As far what they do in their personal lives...as long as it isn't murder major drug or booze abuse...then I'm not going to judge.
Kennedy is considered one of our greatest presidents..and he cheated.
There are no rumors about Nixon and we know how that turned out.

Totally agree. The **** with Jane Fonda is screwed up...

Ryan
Ryan, is this what you're referring to?

http://terpsboy.com/blogpics04/fonda-kerry.jpg
Yea, kinda.. I mean... He goes over to Vietnam to fight for the Americans and then protests against the War as a Veteran?? Then covers it up and acts like he didn't do that.... It's wrong.

Ryan
You know he is considered a war hero because he saved a man's life in Vietnam. Then he throws his medals away and condemns the war when he gets home. Now when he's campaigning, he has the guy whose life he saved travel with him to talk him up at rallys. Now he's downplaying his anti-war stance when it's to his advantage. Seems like he wants to have it both ways. In other words, a true politician.
Oh well - At least he turned up

The United **** Nations??????????????????????????????????????????? ???

if he's spouting out shite like that then I'm pretty sure stories of him getting **** out of his nut on acid and meths back in the day are just round the corner.

fcukin commie's man what you going to do with them
Nothing wrong with that, would make the world a lot safer & take away the power from countries fighting their own invasions.

Also, if the US cut their defence - they'd put more money into the UN & hence have a greater influence.

According to the Drudge Report, John Kerry has allegedly had an extra-marital relationship with a 24 year old woman who has since fled the country during Sen. Kerry's run for the presidency. She is currently living in Kenya and is a former employee of the Associated Press. She refuses to comment to the press.
