so why do we want to remain so far apart??
because when it comes down to it, we dont fit in with the rest of Europe, we never have (ie the whole Armada thing last time a single currency was attempted to be introduced)

the passport thing, to travel in the EU you arent supposed to need them...to get back here you do, hell I'm glad we dont fit in with them, no offence but I see it as a case of us and them (not in the terms of the topic)

they want us to join so much, then they shouldnt have spent most of their histories trying to bloody invade us!

The Daily Mail may seem be coming from the right but it does say alot of what the average person on the street is thinking.

K so far we've heard how prices have doubled, shops, pubs etc... have taken the piss by marking prices up and the UK has a stronger economy than the Euro.

Y should we join? i've to fail to see one reason that would convince me. I saw a debate a while back to see what people thought about the euro and all the europeans could say in it's favour was that it was fun seeing where the notes had come from and what different designs they had in different countries. I swear that's all they could say about it.

If you want to look at nice pictures goto a gallery, i want my money to work for me.

Much as it pains me to say it Celtic r in the Eufa cup final so maybe scotlands getting it's act together football wise.

back to the euro subject has anyone noticed how no one has change in euros? go into a pub hand them a note, do u have change. no .. i'll have to go and get some from the safe (leaves me thirsty and wanting a drink)

go into a perfume shop ... do u have change.... no i don't tend to carry 30 quid in change around with me

i don't know wether u agree or not but i think europe and the UK are too different to actually go into something like this, i mean attitudes and such. we do think alot more along the lines of the US than Europe so i don't know if jumping into the Euro is the best idea.
