can't use eurotrash??? hmmm i'm going to have to rethink my stancew on europeans then

seriously though i can honestly see no good reason to join, we've had the bad reasons from people whos countries use it so why not get some advantages for those whos countries use it and trust me choc the UK pays alot more into the EU than it takes out because of our economy and wealth.

trust me, you dont i have done a lot of research on that for college and you honestly dont. the midlands for example are classed as "zielgebiet 1" for european funds, which means you get the most money, even more than portugal or spain get. there are good reasons for it, but i'm just saying...

yes thats true, the midlands does because of the long reaching effects of our industrial decline in the interwar period, however we still pay a lot of money, thanks Mr DeGaulle! or however the hell you spell his frog name

Y should we join? i've to fail to see one reason that would convince me. I saw a debate a while back to see what people thought about the euro and all the europeans could say in it's favour was that it was fun seeing where the notes had come from and what different designs they had in different countries. I swear that's all they could say about it.

If you want to look at nice pictures goto a gallery, i want my money to work for me.
1 good reason:

Transaction & translation rates.... that arise from different currencies & cost firms millions!!

The strong pound is also haing a negative effect on foreign investment.

the UK and Germany are net contributers so we actually pay more into the EU budget than we take out. portugatl, greece, ireland get large grants and they're not able to pay so much back. so actually be thankful to the UK (and Germany) .
45% of the budget actually goes to agricultural margets- which isn't even as inportant in the uk than other countries....

not true:

EFRE (where most of the money goes) is the European fond for Regional Development, and the British midlands belong to objective 1 ---> i.e. they get most of the money as you can see from the above chart.
Agriculture is EAGFL --> they don't get as much!

noone is denying the midlands gets a lot from the regional funding (which is exactly what the EU was set up for - so why exactly are you moaning when its doing what its meant to be?)

however you are saying that more is taken out from this than is given in,

London alone pays £2 billion into the EU
