nope i didn't and that's just more proof that people might be reading way too much into what the Bible actually is and represents.

You'd be surprised to know that about 98% of our genetical pattern is identical to the apes.
That's true, but in fact it refers to Bonobo apes, btw the only living thing on planet earth that has sex just for the sake of it - besides the Homo Sapiens Sapiens. So how can anyone doubt the theory of evolution? I will never get it. There were mistakes, and probably still are in some theories, but the broadly connections are fact. At least that's what I believe in.

John Steinbeck has written somewhere: In any case an idea becomes dangerous when it strikes root in fear, anxiety and hardship. But then it's no longer an idea, but becomes emotion and RELIGION.

I couldn't agree more.

And just for the record, I do know the bible cause I don't like talking about things I know nothing about.

I absolutely tolerate people that believe because it gives them something. Yet I see religion as an invention of men, the first trial of men to gain power over other men, what tops in the institution of the church. What kind of belief is this when it's based on fear? Fear of God, fear of punishment. Actually it works, what is beyond me, especially nowadays.

Yes, that's what's so cool about God, right? Whatever is not explainable (yet), is due to Him. I see why this worked a few centuries ago, but nowadays?

And referring to this fundamentalist thing, well, you just don't get the point. They truely believe it is right what they do, and that is based on their belief in God. Just like you truely believe what you believe is right. Obviously they are f***ed up in their heads, but just in a more (of course, way more) affecting way than you are - in my eyes. Please, no offence at all, you may believe whatever you want, I was just stating my beliefs as you stated yours. It's just sometimes I could go off the wall, nevertheless I respect you and what you said.

Honestly, this thread was a nice read.

wouldnt it be kinda funny if sum archeoligists or sumbody discovered the long lost first page of the bible??!! i.e, the one which said ''the following story is fiction, all events described in this book are the writers immaginaton and any reference to actual true events is completely coinciental...'' Create a bt of stir that would..

JBJ - I believe

"Sambora's face is a mask of joyous disbelief, as if previously unaware of his ability to play the instrument at all. Reaching the last fistful of notes, he does a fair impression of a man who is actually ejaculating into his jet black flares."

Who knows which is the actual truth? We sure as hell don't for sure, but we still need something to believe in.
yes but whatever we believe in doesnt have to be religion i just believe in rock n roll and enjoying life and im perfectly happy that way. we need something to believe in but he doesnt say what that something is, so it doesnt have to be your god...
