I'm sorry for you.
And who votes nowdays in Rock magazines? SlipkNot and System of a down fand who can suck me!!!

CLAPTON is definetly one of the best.

My top 10
1)HENDRIX(say what you want,he is unbeliavble)
2)CLAPTON(overrated???good joke)
3)STEVE VAI(definetly the best guitarist of the last 20 years)
4)EDDIE VAN HALEN(could you imagine what 80s HEAVY METAL had been without him?I guess it wouldn't even had existed)
5)FRANK ZAPPA(not that more for his guitarplaying-even it's great-but more for his experiments. He didn't leave anything out...he is the symbol of uncommercialism even if he could do commercial stuff too)
6)RICHIE SAMBORA(this guy has everythingng beside an own style. If he had that he'd be #1 in my list. Great tehnique, great feeling but not too many original aspects)
7)GARY MOORE(stil got the blues?)
ANGUS YOUNG(his playing is simple and i can't think of any memeorable solo but his riffs are the best and I say it again: he is the symbol of HARD ROCK)
9)RANDY RHOADES(i guess he has written the most memorable riff in HARD ROCK history. CRAZY TRAIN)
10)Tony IOMMI(he's been more a Rythm player than a solo guitarist but Black Sabbath is the most influential band ever so I guess he deserves his place here even I tought putting Blackmore on 10)

Sambora was the reason i piced up the guitar so in a way i will always think of him as my personal favourite. the best ever has to be satriani, i stood 2 - 3 m from him last july for 2.5 hours and was amazed. vai runs in a close second with malmsteen's style still leaves me blown away (he gets boring after a while, the same runs over and over). however, these guys wouldn't be here without hendrix, although he may not be technically the best, he started it all, for these guys to base their playing upon. then u can look at guys like bb king and rory gallagher of a completely different style. personally page does little for me, altough he is a very good guitarist, same with clapton. van halen is good, but the music isn't! i could go on........

Hi

IMO Brian May is definitely one of the greatest guitar players. As is Hendrix.
