true.

being in the rare position of having David Murray who's both a fan and willign to put his hand in his poclet when needed then i can't really complain. it must suck to support Man U, Celtic or anyone else whos chairman and board see it as a primary business venture.

Of the very few things I remember from doing a year of accountancy at uni was my old nutter economics teacher saying somethign to the effect of: Football is one of the stupidest things you can put money in if you expect any kind of return, even with the biggest firms. The only beneficial thing about it is it's pretty easy to launder a bundle of dirty money through them.

Not being too subtle about certain Russian oil magnates and Thai Prime Ministers int he premiership at the time
