It is a sad day but also an exciting day. Am so glad that Fota are standing up to the FIA and not letting them get away with all the crap rules they are trying to enforce. F1 is all about the spectular and the technology. The FIA should have introduced a series for teams that wanted the budget cap. Not let the good teams go.

I won't be watching F1 next year without Ferrari, Renault and all the other Fota Teams.
I was hoping it would all stay together as F1. But this new Fota Breakway could be good too.

I wonder what will happen in terms of TV coverage for the breakaway series, since it's the BBC that the FIA have the F1 screening rights.

Hopefully it doesn't mean a switch back to ITV.

Looking forward to the race tomorrow, should be a good battle between the Brawn's, Red Bull's and Williams.

Glad Sutil is ok, that was one hell of a crash!

Yeah that crash was scary looking and he did so well in practise as well, thought he would get into Q2.

Am hoping Mark Webber does well today, he so deserves a win

Quite a boring race, Vettel just seemed un-challenged at the front.

I really hope if FOTA do break away, they have regulations in place that really do make it more competetive, rather than Bernie and Max's ideas.

Also, i'm thinking the FIA might back down on the issue with FOTA. A couple of races ago, Silverstone had no hope in hell of hosting next years British GP, even if Donnington wasn't ready in time, but Bernie has suddenly done a u-turn and said it will be there if Donnington wasn't ready. So if they changed their minds on that, who knows??!

I think it was more interesting than Turkey. So weird seeing Hamilton & Alonso down at the back fighting.

But yeah Vettel just ran away with it, It was clear from the start he would win.

I see Fota are meeting on Thursday as the WMSC are meeting on Wednesday and they want to see what happens there. But according to Flav they are already working on the new series and will be doing more over the next few weeks.

I kinda wanna go to the German GP now

I guess FOTA will need to work on their new series to get it ready in time for 2010. But at the same time, they should be working on things according to the FIA, even though they have no proper regulations to work to yet, anythign could happen, so they need to cover all bases.
