on planetf1.com homepage it said 3 year deal, then when you clicked on the article it said it was a 1 yeas deal.

Then autosport.com says 3 year deal.....

Strange. 1 year would make more sense since there is the possibiltiy his 'comback' could go tits up, then he's still tied in for another 3 years.

Interesting autosport saying 3 year. Have heard one year with possibilty of more.
I can't see him winning the title and wouldn't bet on it!

Not with Alonso in the Ferrari, the two in the McClarens (although I'd say they will be having a fight of their own!) and Vettel in the Red Bull. Plus his own team mate in the Mercedes.

I heard its a 1 year deal, however if it proves to be a success he will race for a further 2 years.

That makes sense. Can't imagine it'll go too badly for him though!

You are omitting a big point here. He is teaming up with THE BRAIN BRAWN. That's the dream-team of the Formula 1. It just feels bad seeing the two at Mercedes. Any other team would have been fine...but MERCEDES?!?!?! Just NO. I guess that's how Barcelona fans must have felt when they saw Louis Figo play for Real Madrid...

The thing about him teaming up with Brawn again might not go to plan as it used to.

At the start of '09 Both McLaren and Ferrari had shite cars, due to the fact that they had put so much work into fighting for the '08 championship that the development for the '09 car was put on hold for a lot of the time.

Same might be the case for the Mercedes GP car, Brawn were fighting for the championship at the end of '09, so the '10 car might not be as good as it could have been.

Apparantly Ralf Schumacher has been in talks with 4 teams about returning to F1. He won't say which teams, but there has been rumours of him getting the second seat at Toro Rosso.

Algersuari confirmed himself as the second driver, but the team denied it and have still to make comment.

Was never that fussed by Ralf when he was in F1, can't help but think he only got in cos of his name

Would love to see Montoya back though!

Ah interesting. I dont really think Alguersauri was all that good but then again he had no testing in the car. I don't think Ralf should come back at all. He wasn't the best.

Now would love to have Montoya back.
Can't see it happening though.

Am worried that Nick Heldfield won't be there next year either! No news about him at all.
