I remember last year or could have been 2008 Ferrari got freakin a huge fine for the unsafe release of Massi.

Am surprised as well with Button bunching them all up before crossing the line after the safety car went in. That looked pretty confusing!

Weaving in Malaysia: Wasn't dangerous + Hamilton wasn't blocking in a breaking area. Got a warning & rules have been cleared up. They can't go giving penalties for retrespective rule changes like they did in Spa although he won't be doing that again.

After being squeezed by Vettel - racing incident, caused I believe by Button being very slow behind the safety car. Plus Webber deals it out all the time so he can take it.

Alonso is a cheat, but not Hamilton?

To be fair, jumping the start is pretty blatant.

They should've black flagged Hamilton for his tricks.

Button and Rosberg drove great, as did Alonso, even with the drive-through. I can't understand why all Hamilton's screw ups get solved _after_ the race when every one else gets their punishment while the race is going.

If Hamilton had been punished, so should Vettel & Alonso for doing that move on Massa. Hamilton was released at the same time as Vettel (ok 1 sec later). Didn't get grip and came out side by side. Hamilton should have yielded, but then Vettel shouldn't have pushed him into the Mechanics. I'm personally gald the stewards are using common sense - racing incident, wasn't dangerous - doesn't ruin the next race.

Based on the above, should we also have punished:

Webber going into Hamilton at Australia - worse than what Hamliton did today + if it hadn't have happened Hamilton would now be leading the drivers championship?

Alonson causing the collision at the start of Australia?

Vettel for overtaking in yellow flag zone in Malaysia?

There is some hatred on here towards Hamilton despite another fantastic race today. Watching the highlights show it was 75% Hamilton overtaking just about everyone again including a superb double overtake on Sutil & Vettel - The start to this season (bahrain aside) has been really exciting, not sure if that would have been the case if Hamilton wasn't there and the only reason people want him penalised is because the last thing anyone on the grid wants to hear are the words: "Hamiltons coming up behind and he's quick". In the words of Alonso: "I don't want to know!"

Button had a great race today, although once again a marginal call went for him.

Roseberg did well, although Alonso had a great race coming 4th despite the drive through. It will be interesting to see how it pans out with a fully dry qualifying / race.

An honourable mention goes to Petrov.

He can drive, but he needs to drive under the same rules as everyone else. He gets away with murder because he's Ecclestone's favourite. Once he starts driving with the same ruleset as the rest, I'll shut up. Right now he's liek a young Schumacher who's thinking "they can't touch me". All it takes is one judge with balls and he'll start learning.

Hamilton & vettel were acutally side by side coming into the pit lane (see link below). Hamilton had the inside line and hence went in ahead. The McLaren lollipop goes up 1 second after Vettel so Hamilton wasn't released into Vettel although Hamilton didn't get grip and ended up next to Vettel and actually did pretty well to steady the car & not go into him. Watch the end of the link below and look how little room Vettel gives Hamilton - you can actually fit another car between Vettel and the wall.

Hamilton didn't try to block him as he wasn't ahead, but yes he should have yielded and Vettel shouldn't have pushed him into the Engineers, but it wasn't a situation of Hamiltons making and he didn't try and squeeze Vettel which would have been more dangerous - he did back off eventually.

He's probably thinking - here we go again, another excuse for a collecting bashing by the other drivers. Watching the link above Vettel is doing the more dangerous manouvers and it was right that they were both warned. Otherwise next race you would have seen Alonso, Vettel, Hamilton down 5 places along with all the other drivers with indiscretions of which there are a lot - don't forget that Hamilton also was pushed onto the grass behind the safety car, not sure by whom though.

He got punished for just about everything apart from speeding on track the last couple of years and while he does push the rules where there are grey areas he isn't driving dangerously so far this year which is more than you can say for a number of the other 'top' drivers. The fact that we have ex-racers on the judges panel means there is a bit more common sense being applied.

Happy Alonso got 2nd. (yes I know it was gifted) still nice though, No idea whats up with Felipe. Second race in a row he didn't try pass Schumacher.

Nice drive from Barrichello to get 10th from 18th and Alguersuari as well to get into the points even with the drive through.

Solid drive from Webber today, he deserved the win.

It was a good enough race, I wasn't expecting it to be excellent. But it was good enough.

Qualy at Monaco should be interesting though.

Monaco this weekend Love me some back to back Grand Prix's
Alonso first in both practises. Hope he cna get the Ferrari on pole and win! Or if Felipe can do it will be happy.

I hope Qualy is interesting now, they have bigged it all up now saying they think it will be tough so they better make it good
