I am hoping that Vettel will defend against Hamilton and Alonso will shoot past them both

Today's race was pretty boring for a title decider! Glad Brazil is back where it belongs last race of the season next year.

Didn't want Vettel to win. I do not understand how the hell Mark's car was THAT much slower than Vettels. It just does not make sense at all to me.

Only 119 days to go to Bahrain.
I can survive that long....I think....

Yeah, it was quite boring apart from the first lap crash between Shumi and Liuzzi.

Would have been happier if Webber had won it, but Vettel will do, as long as it wasn't Alonso!

Couldn't believe how emotional Vettel was when he found out he'd won and when on the podium!

Schumacher was so freaking lucky there.
That could have been so much worse.

Yeah he was! Was kinda surprised too!

And I kinda thought Webber had been crying when he was being interviewed.
I wonder will he be with Red Bull next year, he didn't sound very convincing.

Substitute head with car.... He had to make the move in Singapore. It's not his fault that Webber likes to use him as a moving brake!

Hamilton deserves a penalty for that move on Felipe in Qualy.
For getting out of the way? They were both on an outlap. Gave as a great camera shot though!

Overall, the right man won the championship. The fastest team member driving the fastest car. If it wasn't for reliability he would have won it a few races ago. He probably made more mistakes than Hamilton and a similar number to Alonso. Webber made the fewest mistakes but wasn't fast enough and couldn't handle the pressure - I don't think he would have been a worthy winner.

Alonso had a great second half of the season in a car that overall wasn't too far behind Red Bull but made too many errors in the first half of the season.

Hamilton has been as unlucky as Vettel with reliability this season but could have been challenging if not for the error in Monza or the bad luck in Singapore, but ultimately the car wasn't fast enough which is why he had to take the extra risks to stay in touch. Still, comprehensivley beat Button 14-5 (qualifying) and 13-6 (race including +2 DNF's for LH + 1 gearbox issue).

Hopefully the cars will be more competitive next year which could mean a titanic battle between Hamilton, Alonso and Vettel.

Massa was hugely disappointing this season.

I think Mark gave up mentally very early on. I also think a part of him didn't want Vettel to win.

Really happy for Vettel, he deserved that title yesterday. He was the better driver on the day. Did anyone see the display by Alonso after the race finished? Show what sort of a person he is.

Delighted for Vettel, he's a very good driver although has made a few mistakes this year, he was unlucky at the start of the year where he was dominant but reliability let him down.

Vettel

Alonso was classless to the last, his gestures to Petrov on the slow down lap remind us of the man he is. Which is a shame as I was growing to like him again. Especially after his rollercoaster ride at the weekend

I am disappointed Hulk has left Williams too Been following him for years through A1, F3 and GP2 and he deserves a seat for next year.

I've said it before and will say it again: Alonso was, is and will be a whiner.

Glad for Vettel, I'm surprised that he could keep his head cold and that his Red Bull held together. I kept waiting for it to explode like it had done in the past. Sorry for Webber, but not a bit sorry for Alonso.

Totally agree about Alonso, how could he expect Petrov to move out of the way, Alonso is just too scared to take a risk and try to overtake on the track, he just expects the others to move out the way. Same in Germany, if he genuinely was THAT much faster that Massa, he should have been able to breeze past him.
