This was a team call though, and the rule has been alrtered since so it can't have been that clear regarding stopping early.

Well, the judges didn't think so. And it doesn't matter if it was a change of direction or not, you're not allowed to change the line more than once.

But again the rule was grey enough that it wasn't clear cut and was taken in the spirit of the maneuover in that it wasn't dangerous, aggressive or disadvantaging anyone. This has also now been clarified.

He's done it many times, actually even passing cars by that, like Vettel on the pit lane entry.

They were clearly side by side going into the Pit lane and where they going to penalise half the field?

From what I saw, it was clearly a pass. He was behind the saftey car, he saw it and then accelerated in front of the SC after having crossed the finish line on the lap the SC came out.

Safety car was coming out of the pits - he actually slowed down when he saw it and then speeded up. That moment of indecision cost him a penalty - if he hadn't slowed down he would have been fine.

Banging wheels with Vettel: Really? Vettel is such a passive driver. His overtaking move on Sutil at Silverstone was really out of character.
Barrichello's comments on Hamilton weaving: The same Barrichekllo who at Monaco simply threw his wheel onto the race track to be collected by an Hiaspnia driver? The weaving wasn't an aggresive move anyway.
Rim failure in Barcelona: This was human error - nothing to do with Hamilton. Since this article Canda happened proving he can look after his tyres. Also since this article Lewis has got two P1's & two P2's.
I see they omitted the full title of what Hamilton was voted which was most aggressive / exciting driver....

I don't remember him overtaking Vettel at the entrance to the pits? The closest was where he was side by side in China... which was the same race as Alonso did his move.
You are seeing things that aren't there. Hamilton hasn't put anyone in danger this season. For me the most aggresive driver on the track today is Vettel, followed by Alonson who has given at least two cars punctures this season with full racing contact.
