Default The Ring

Hi all:
Any of you seen the movie The Ring? What did you think? I saw it last night and it was scarier than Stanley Kubrick's The Shining. I thought The Ring was really creepy.

Your thoughts?

Adrian

I haven't seen The Ring either, but I did see the Shining. I didn't think it was creepy, or good. In fact, I would put it with my worst movies.

I thought The Shining was suspenseful. Not scary though. I've been told all my life that The Shining is the scariest movie out there. I saw it and it only got a little creepy near the end. I thought The Shining tv version was scarier. I need to buy that version. The Ring was way scarier. Not a good (as in, I want to buy it) movie I don't think, but definitely designed to scare people.

I was scared to death after I saw the Ring. I was alone in the house that night and couldn't fall asleep for hours...I refused to turn out the lights and TV...after I finally did, I woke up to go get a drink and all I imagined was that girl coming down the hallway like she did in the movie when she came out of the TV screen... I ran back to my bed, pulled the covers over my head and didn't sleep the rest of the night.

I loved it. I'll definitely add it to my DVD library.

My friend acutally said that The Ring was stupid (she was mumbling about horrible direction and storyline - and Im like her so I'll probably end up complaing about that also (we are both aspiring to become directors or movie producers)).

Then again, my other friend said that he had nightmares about it.

I have yet to see it, though. My boyfriend and I were going to watch it this weekend, but nooooo he had to go off to Columbus for his college oreintation. **sigh**

No matter what, though, I aint watching it by myself - my mother didnt raise no crazy foo'.

I got scared during Signs and Harry Potter: The Chamber of Secrets when the baslik thingy jumped out of the water. Its so sad but oh so true!! It was all the surround sound's fault! If I didnt hear everything so wonderfully, I wouldnt have jumped at loud sounds! I WOULDNT HAVE!!! I WOULDNT!!

LOL Probably talking to you guys and my friends over at Aquatica. Drinking root beer with my friends over spring break. Doing insane mods on another friend's Super Soaker water gun. Writing songs. The usual.
