Question for those who have seen the ring:

Why did Rachel survive and that other guy didn't?

That really puzzled me.

She lives because she made a copy of the tape - henceforth helping the little girl. Pretty stupid i thought it was... I didn't really like it....and yes, it did have so many holes. I hate how it was advertised! I thought it was going to be so freaking scary!...but extremely disappointed. It wasn't scary at all...it was just pathetic

oh man...that movie horrible sucked! I thought it was going to be great because it was M Night Shamalan for garsh sakes!!! I was waiting for some sort of twist or something i like those kind of things. The only real good part was when he was wheeling the tv back into the living room, and you see the reflection.

I THOUGHT THAT MOVIE WAS SO FREAKY!! I mean, even Shannon couldnt help me there! MY GOSH!! IT WSA FREAKY!! FREAKITY FREAKY!!!

When the alien is on top of the roof and you only see it for a split second - gosh, i must of jumped in the air a foot or two! My goodness! That was soooo freaky! And the birthday party scene!! GOODNESS!! True, I was expecting it - but maaaaaaaan.. freaky movies are not meant to be watched alone, i give you that much...

Credit, the ending stunk (and there should have been a twist - like Unbreakable or Memento - now, there were two twist movies, my friend) - but a director has to hit a dead end everyonce in awhile... overall though - it was just PLAIN FREAKY.... goodness..

For me, the pleasure was spoiled finally, when they were nailing the boards on the doors. They put this one rotter board over the front door, in the inside. THE DOOR OPENED OUTSIDE, FOR CHRISSAKE!!! How's that gonna stop anything??? Also, these creatures can get to earth without any problems, but they can't enter a house because of a few boards shutting the windows and doors... Oh, come on...

Unbreakable just recycled the "twist" of 6th Sense. At least it worked the first time, but when I was watching Unbreakable, it took me about 5 seconds to figure out who was the bad guy.

I never did see all that movie...I walked in at the ending, and my mom started screaming "IT WAS HIM!! IT WAS HIM!!! OH DEARY ME!! IT WAS HIM!"...i just whispered 'dammit' and turned around and left the room -- i knew i just ruined the whole movie for myself.

But Memento is a kick ass movie! One of my favorites! Chris Nolan is now my favorite director! He's such a genius! Man, i just want to give him a great big kiss! He's my hero for that movie. Has anyone else seen that? I know reincarnation has, but anyone else? Because it's wonderful! You really have to watch it several times to understand it and get the full blow of the movie.

Those are the kind of movies i'm going to make after i get out of film school! ......hopefully.

Forever and a day,
Kathy

But I agree, Freddy beats the **** out of any modern horror flick.
Michael Myers is better IMO
