You know you could die because of a hit to your breastbone, don't you ?

You won in the penalty area, not on the field
Trézéguet hit the bar because Italy payed him anyway, isn't that how it works with you guys?

No, I can't do anything, you've lifted the cup, I don't want to do anything either. I'm not even that disappointed with losing as our team played a good game and gave it all.
But when FIFA will carry out the investigation they've announced, they'll want to know what Materazzi said, and if he did say anything racist, they might pull that Article 55 out of their sleeve.

I know, I can't see that word being said either. But it's not the only racist word in Materazzi's vocabulary I'm sure. All I can read is the "va fanculo" in the end. What's clear is that Zidane was just on about Materazzi pulling his shirt and was ready to leave it there before the mysterious insult made him lose his temper.

To Vieri, Zidane has not done THAT before, he's had bad reactions following hard tackles on him, but nothing as violent as that, and nothing that no other player would ever do or has ever done. I'm also sure you would have loved to have such a "loser" in your team for the past 11 years.

Thanks for posting this Ponrauil. Actually I've been thinking about this since last Sunday. I didn't know if there was anything legal, but I have been wondering if FIFA could take any actions against Materazzi depending on what the result of all this is.

I read and heard that apparently Zidane may say at the end of this week what Materazzi told him. Materazzi already confirmed he insulted Zidane, he didn't want to say which words he used. Interesting.

You may be right since FIFA is ruled by Blatter and Platini.

It seems Zizou doesn't use his head to think.

Thanks for the pic Proteus, you can see clearly from the player in red's head position that it's nowhere near as violent as the headbutt on Materazzi, and that it was after a tackle.

My point exactly.

Blatter isn't French and Platini has nothing to do with FIFA's disciplinary decisions.

I know Blatter is swiss but its politics are well known and the fact that Platini has nothing to do with FIFA's disciplinary decisions doesn't mean he can't influence them.
The man didn't know Grosso, now I think he knows him.
