hehe - Sounds like the Yankees r the Man Utd of the Baseball world.... This is what that thought on the Metallica board:

How can you guys sit back and celebrate tonight realizing you just crushed the hearts of BoSox nation once again? Seriously, I mean if I was a Yanks fan, I'd feel really guitly about it, especially when my owner is a heartless s.o.b. like Steinbrenner, and my team's payroll is ridiculously too high... not to mention Yanks fans are incredibly too spoiled. And then tonight, pulling another game out of your ass yet again, to win again for the upteenth time.

I mean, I'll definitely give the Yanks credit... this incarnation of the Yankees, starting back with the Series runs in the late '90's to now, is probably the most clutch team ever... but still. How can you guys not feel any guilt? Don't you people have souls? lol... heartless lot you are.

The only good thing coming out of this is that this years playoffs have been incredible. The letdown being the W.S. now... I'm sure ratings will considerably down compared to the ALCS and NLCS, as this was the worse possible outcome ratings wise from the four teams left.

Congrats Yanks, another win for you ever so spoiled fans. Your trangressions will eventually be avenged though... someday. *mightily shakes fist*

Yank's Fan: "Awww the Sox might not make it to the World Series again. We better throw the game so their feelings won't be hurt."

Eeek. Obviously you have never been to a playoff baseball game then. Especially at Yankee Stadium. What a night!

Besides, just because we don't cause riots, unlike some people, doesn't mean we aren't passionate.

As for the Sox, the curse of the Bambino continues.......Boo freakin Whoo...LOL

Finally got to post about this. Was up until 1:30 am watching - and then up again at 6:30 to work. What a great game - right into the 11th inning. Both teams were very evenly matched - a perfect playoff. Now we can go kick some Florida as* (I hope)

Kathleen
