I was serving one weekend and these little girls came in to the restaurant. They were playing with My Little Ponies and I told them that I still had mine at home in the barn my grandfather had made for them. The girls mother looks at me and says "My Little Pony isn't that old!" I was shocked and then I told the lady I was only 18

Ummm...My Little Pony was around when I was little. And I'm 30! Care Bears are also making a big come back this year. I've been seeing them all over.

What makes me feel old is when I hire someone at work and they have birthdates in the mid 1980's now! I was in high school when these kids were just being born!

I asked my parents to get me a Care Bear this year. I never had one when I was little. But all the toys I played with are making a comeback...My Little Pony, Strawberry Shortcake (although they have tried to make her more modern ), Care Bears, Popples...I wish Jem would come back

the only thing that is making me feel old (besides the daily ritual of looking in the mirror) is after a night of too much booze.

Nowadays it takes me several days to recover, whereas I used to bounce back in a snap

My Little Pony and Care Bears were among my favorite toys as a child. I had a big collection of My Little Ponies. I still have them in a box in my closet and there are a few I still keep on my dresser as decoration, including Seashell, Bubbles, Hearthrob, and baby Cuddles. I never could find Bubbles as a child and I always wanted that one. I got her off Ebay a few years ago! LOL So, now I feel like my collection is complete.

If I had a baby soon, I would decorate the nursery in the Care Bear stuff they sell now. I think it's so cute.

You had a baby Cuddles?!!!! I always wanted one of those...I did have a book that "lift the flaps to find baby Cuddles" It is so worn that it is held together by tape. And when I was 3, I went out for Hallowe'en as a My Little Pony.
