No it's not. We all have our own dreams and beliefs and things we find important. Why should I measure my life to someone else's beliefs, that just doesn't make sense.

Measuring yourself against other peoples standards can be a good thing though. It can help you to strive to better yourself, and allow you to achieve a level of greatness above what you ever believed was possible.

True, but it's not a good thing if you substitute your own beliefs for someone else's beliefs.

As being a bit ölder"I only can give you all one advice and Allwyn, especially you..Just try to enjoy the moments cause before you know, things are over.
Being unemployed is really a bad thing and makes you feel sad, I know, but try to keep it positive....teh more you face life with a smile the more live looks at you with a smile.
Good things will happen always after the dark periods, so just know we all want you to feel good and happy and remember there are a lot of friends outthere who care. That`s so important, it should make you feel happy.

Thanks forcheering me up Inge. :P I'm a positive person, thats why i'm able to take all the things in positive way. But it is not always easy to be positve, especally when ur past come and hunt you and you feel like what the hell i done and like that. But in general i'm very positive about my future.

I often find that other people's standards are below my own (when it comes to relationships) or unhealthy (like Mary Ann's obsession with weight loss that fuels my eating disorder laden psyche).
