the first posts me and mike mcrock ever did on bounce "Bounce Is Crap" i think it was called - we got comepletely flamed... this was in october...

so after that i thought fine i'm not coming back here then there's no poiint...

then around january i nipped back out of interest and saw everyone was complaining about the album and the setlists and now i've got 700 odd posts or something...

incidentally i did a search for "bounce is crap" to try to find it to see if the people who were having a go at me are still here now...

and i was confronted with 64 pages to search through... !

that shows how many people do think it too.... (again before arguments i mean crap by BJ's very high standards which the first 6 albums set)

having said that i had front row centre tickets for deep purple x 2...

one of which i only bought 2 weeks before the concert was scheduled
Okay, play Tradewinds. Bruce and BJ both have played there at some point. Then I would like VIP seating.
No problems

Everyone has complemented your sig., I think the avatar rocks even more... that's what rock n roll should be: fender guitar, torn jeans, muscles, sweat, energy...
Why thank you LetitRock. I agree with you 100 percent!!!

Never say never about being on the same level as Bruce. I am sure he thought the same thing when he started out, thinking he wouldn't live up to his role models. It all has to start somewhere.

to me though bruce has the songwriting capability of dylan (equals in that respect) but live not even BJ can challenge him, even to this day...

over 50 years old, still long sets (though not as long as they could be - hopefully will change)...

sings with 100% passion and energy 100% of the time... never backs out of anything... still spontanous and true to his roots...

only person to successfully deal with 9/11 in his music and politics...

to me he is a God-like figure of music, and you can't compete with that...

especially not with the quality of music coming through these days.

While my music is musically very sophisticated, lyrically i cannot compete with him ever... no matter how many life expericnes, books i read, things i see, am told... he has it down to an artform...

no, its too expensive as i'm already seeing BJ twice
a bruce ticket costs around 60 euros and it's quite far from where i live
so unless someone gives me money i wont be able to go

At least you have the BJ shows to look forward to though - I'm excited about the Bruce concert though - 3 months away now... then add a couple of weeks and it's BJ also
