still not sure if im goin to see springsteen. me n some friends were goin to travek down to manchester for it but not much has been sed of it for a while. just seenf lickerstick last sunday and was really amazing. was hanging out backstage with them cos i know the booker from the club through my band and were goin to a club with it after them but me and half the band didnt get in cos we were all pished.
coming up ive got bon jovi in hampden. matchbox 20 maybees, t in the park and maybe leeds.
ps to the dude who's saying his writing wiull never aspire to springsteens level. don't ever put urself down. if ur in a band or a musician and ur always putting urself down then u'll never go anywhere.
i've played on the same stage as oasis, the stereophonics, radiohead and just about every decent british band from the past decade.
i've met the guy who wrote the live aid song, hung out with him and had my band play a set for him. (which he loved)
next month my bands playing a gig over 200 miles away and the week after that we're playing a venue the night after avril lavigne plays it. this place has had oasis, feeder and the foo fighters there in the past year.
i'm only 18 and i realise that theres a shitload of bands more deserving of doin all the stuff i have but theres no way that i'm going to put myself down or step back and let osmeone else do it because if i'm doing it ive worked for it and deserve to do it. so keep the faith
