Default Translation Help

I've given into Andy's (joeykid's) suggestion of asking for some help here lol. Can anyone help me translate this to Spanish? I've done about a third of it but i'm missing some words/phrases and I think what I translated doesn't make sense :S. Its for a school project that I need to finish for tomorrow. Please keep it in the simplest words if you can! The bold - bold/italic is what i've already translated.

While she sang her favorite song, a wolf came up to Olga and offered to show her a short cut right through the trees. Olga remembered her mother told her not to wander off of the path so she refused but the wolf wouldn't stop bothering her until she began to scream. Finally, the wolf ran away and little red riding hood went on her way again. The wind started to make her cold so she put on her coat.

Meanwhile, the wolf took the short cut to Olga's grandmother's house by himself and he knocked on the door 2 times. An old lady answered the door and the wolf ate her. He started to look for a way to dress up as Olga's grandma so he could fool her and so he would be able to eat her too. He went in to the closet and tried to find some clothes to wear. Finally, he got in to a robe and put on a hat so he would look like Olga's grandmother. He jumped in to the bed and waited until Olga arrived at the house. When she got to the door, Olga knocked until she heard her grandmother say come in. She walked in to the house and saw her Grandmother in bed. She looked different and Olga told her so. Grandma, what big eye's you have! Olga said. The better to see you with, Olga. Her grandma said back. Grandma, what big teeth you have! Olga said. The better to eat you with!

Okay, I'm redoing it, even those parts you have done. It's not bad, but you keep mixing some tenses. Past participles (finished in -ado / -ido), like in English, need to be preceded by an auxiliar verb. By themselves they can only be used as adjectives. Anyway, I'll try to keep it as simple as possible... Let's see:

Mientras ella cantaba (it's a continuous action) su canción favorita, un lobo se (le) acercó y le ofreció mostrarle un atajo entre los árboles. Olga recordaba que su madre le había dicho que no se alejara del sendero así que se negó, pero el lobo no paró de molestarla hasta que comenzó a gritar. Finalmente, el lobo huyó / salió corriendo y Caperucita Roja (Little Red Riding Hood in Spanish) continuó andando.

¡Abuela, qué ojos tan grandes tienes! dijo Olga. Para verte mejor, Olga. Respondió su abuela. ¡Abuela, qué dientes tan grandes tienes! dijo Olga. ¡Para comerte mejor!

Ok, so that's it. It's not very fluent Spanish, I could have changed many things to make it sound better, but I think it's better like this. There are no grammatical mistakes either, though. My advice is you read it and adapt it to what you know, even if you think it may be wrong... Also bear in mind that my Spanish is Spanish from Spain. If your teacher is from South America he may use different expressions, and may find it weird that you use expressins from Spain.

I think that's all then. If you have any doubt, do not hesitate to ask! I've studied translation but it's almost a year since a translated anything at all. This has brought back brilliant memories!!!

Hope it helps!!
